Always have a fully charged battery on hand. That way, you won’t run the risk of having to interrupt your game just when it’s at its best.  

Please note the following in advance for your information and to aid understanding:
Peg Perego switched all its vehicles to lithium batteries at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026. This is not a disadvantage in principle, as lithium batteries allow for much longer running times per charge, charge more quickly and have more charge cycles – meaning they last longer than lead-acid batteries. A minor drawback is that the price of the vehicles has risen slightly, as lithium batteries are more expensive.
So if you already have a vehicle with lithium batteries and need this battery as a second or spare battery, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

If you still own a vehicle with lead-acid batteries – no problem – the lithium batteries are also compatible with all vehicles that were originally fitted with lead-acid batteries. So you can simply switch to lithium. Please note, however, that you will also need a suitable charger – which can be found at the end of the product description – for the lithium battery. The existing (blue) charger cannot be used with lithium batteries.

Another, more affordable alternative for anyone who owns a lead-acid battery that has failed: we also stock ‘replica lead-acid batteries’. This means that only the battery itself is supplied here; the yellow casing and the connector must be taken from the faulty battery. Please note – you will need two of these 12V/9Ah batteries – together they provide 24 volts. The conversion is very simple and can be carried out by anyone. This way, you can continue using lead-acid batteries and won’t need a new charger.
